კონკურსის შესახებ:

The Program is pleased to announce a Request for Applications RFA-038 "Improving Firm Productivity, Productive Capacity and Product Quality in Light Manufacturing and Solid Waste Management Sectors" for interested micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs), to provide financial support for improving productivity, increasing productive capacity and improving firm level operations in Light Manufacturing and Solid Waste Management Sectors. The activity is intended to improve overall performance of companies, facilitate high (er) value job creation, increase in revenues, catalyze investment inflow in MSMEs and help to achieve their sustainable growth.

DAI intends to provide the non-monetary grant under this RFA to one entity listed in Section A "Eligibility requirements" with the ceiling 108, 000 GEL, to provide Blow Film Machine, producing packaging materials (with LDPE/LLDPE/Bio Tubular film) with the production capacity of 35-45 KG/H) to the successful applicant as an in-kind grant award.

The expected duration of DAI support is from January 1, 2023 to September 1, 2023. DAI, as primary implementer of the Program, reserves the right to fund any or none of the applications submitted.

Applications must be received no later than 6:00pm on December 19, 2022. Applications and modifications must be submitted in pdf (preferred) or other electronic format to the Program`s grants staff at GESP_Grants@dai.com.

Issuance of this RFA does not constitute an award commitment on the part of DAI, nor does it commit DAI to pay for costs incurred in the preparation and submission of an application. Further, DAI reserves the right to reject any or all applications received. Applications are submitted at the risk of the applicant. All preparation and submission costs are at the applicant`s expense.

Any questions concerning this RFA should be submitted in writing not later than December 12, 2022 to GESP_Grants@dai.com.

Response to the questions will be provided no later than December 14, 2022. Please, note that responses to the question might be shared publicly hence do not submit the questions that may include sensitive information regarding your organization and/or application.

Information session for the RFA-038 will be held online at 12pm, on December 9, 2022 via WebEx platform.
