კონკურსის შესახებ:

DW Akademie is inviting a researcher, a group of researchers or a research company to lead grant supported research related to the Parliamentary Elections 2024. This funding is a valuable element of the ConMeCo project implemented by DW Akademie in partnership with two prominent local non-profit organizations Media Development Foundation and Human Rights Centre and is made possible by the generous support of the European Union and co-funding of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development. The grant recipient will design and implement this research, and therefore must demonstrate experience and expertise in methods of qualitative and quantitative data collection and analysis.

The objective of this call is to provide DW Akademie and ConMeCo project stakeholders with in-depth analysis of the proposed topic related to the Parliamentary Elections 2024. Applicants are free to decide what methodology would be relevant for their research. The final report in Georgian language should not exceed 25 pages, include a summary of key findings and be published electronically (with the help of DW Akademie). The language of the report will be Georgian, but the summary of the key findings must be provided in Georgian and English languages.

What do we offer?

Two grants in the amount of 5, 000 EUR each for up to 6-months from April 1, 2024. The research must be completed by the end of July 2024, and published in the first half of September 2024.

Who can apply?

An independent researcher, a team of researchers and a research organization with at least 5-year proven track record of quantitative and qualitative data collection and analysis.

Application must be submitted electronically by November 20, 2023, 18:00 Tbilisi time via email: akademie.georgia@dw.com. Any application submitted after the due date will not be considered. A successful candidate will be notified by email within one month after the expression of the interest.

Additional Requirements:

** DW Akademie retains the right to change the timeline of the procedure and extend the deadline if no satisfactory applications have been received.
** The copy right for the final material will belong to the creator. The report must carry the reference to the ConMeCo project and its donors.
